We are so excited to introduce all of you to our fellow sister, Sandi. She is the owner of The Olivetee, one of our gracious sponsors here at Sisters in Bloom! Sandi has a beautiful testimony of how God redeemed her life and then was inspired to start The Olive Tee company!

I grew up in a Christian home and always believed in God, but I also believed God had high standards that I could never measure up to. So why even try? I rebelled. I made poor decisions because it was too hard and not rewarding enough to make the “right” choices. I was embarrassed to be a Christian all through my teens and twenties because Christians didn’t have any “fun”. (In my mind) all they did was go to church, preach to people and go on mission trips. It wasn’t until five years ago that I finally began to understand what God was really about. He’s not about religion and perfection; He’s about relationship, growth, love and grace. He has no standards and accepts us just as we are. I’m a recovering alcoholic of over 5 years. What brought me to the self destructive point were lies. Lies I believed about myself because I didn’t see my worth as a child of God. I was always turning to the world for love, acceptance, happiness, and entertainment.
When I chose to believe the TRUTH God says about me and rely on His love for me, I began to like myself, make healthy choices and renew my mind with the Word of God. Rather than seeking to please myself, I turned to living a life that pleased God. With every Godly decision made, my respect for myself grew and my desire to drink lessened. And being a Woman of God is anything BUT boring! God has used my talents, gifts, and passions in ways I never imagined. It brings me a joy and excitement I never knew was out there!

The Mission Behind Olivetee
I want others to experience Christ the way I have. I love fashion. I also love short, witty statements that catch attention. My goal with my line of tees is to uplift the world; believers and non believers, women of strong faith, women of weak faith, and women who don’t know what to think of God. I have a more modern approach by taking scripture, simplifying it, and delivering it through contemporary fashion. As women of faith, we live in the world but we are not of the world. We are Princesses of the King of Kings and we are called to reach out to the lost. The lost aren’t always non-believers; they can be believers who have been broken or side-tracked (like me) and they just need encouragement to move forward.
My hope is to relate to and attract the world with simple, encouraging statements that are powerful enough to either open the door for a conversation about our Savior, or at least make an impression on someone’s heart. That is my vision for the Olivetee. Wear the Word. Share His love. God’s redemptive power is amazing, isn’t it?
None of us are out of His reach. Thank you so much for sharing with us today, Sandi. You are an inspiration.

I just loved the “I have it all under control – God” Tee. So many times, Type A personalities like me think we have it “all under control.” Yet, without casting ourselves at the feet of our Lord and asking for His help and grace, we cannot. Sandi captured that so perfectly!
Thank you so much Erin! I have to remind myself He is in control every day…
I love the word of the week t-shirt: Grace (pass it on)! Thanks for the chance to win!
I need not long long as there were many that caught my eye but Survivor was my favorite. Thank you for the giveaway and for sharing your testimony.
I love all the tee shirts, but especially liked the “Shine” one. Very inspiring story. Thanks so much for sharing!
God can make great changes in our lives…Sandi is a great example of that. Now before I head over and pick out my favorite, I have to say that I have totally fallen in love with those boots she is wearing in the picture. They are so awesome and I’d love to know where she got them…
I like Shine for all the world to see, but If I were buying for my daughter, definitely the Princess shirt. I love that these shirts are longer.
I love that the shirts are so simple, yet so profound. They catch your eye with just a few simple words. Beautiful!
That is my goal, so thank you Jenny!
The I’m in charge tee is perfect for my little grandson and now, with a granddaughter on the way, I’ll have to get the princess tee! Love all of them and the beautiful way they convey the Gospel in a simple yet profound way. Blessings!
I like the simplicity of the style/designs.
Love the little princess for my little princess…but for me I love embrace tee. I think so often we compare ourselves to other women, wishing we had what they have, but in doing so forget all the amazing gifts God has give to us personally to be used for His kingdom.
YES, Bethany! We need to embrace OUR gifts and not compare. I struggle with this often.
I love the little princess tee for my daughter.
I like the “Encourage One Another” t-shirt
It’s cute and modest, too. Love and hugs from the ocean shores of California, Heather
Thanks Heather! Whereabout are you?
I really like the Grace, pass it on. I am blessed to have a circle of ladies that meet together once a month for Bible study, prayer, and fellowship. (That may not seem often, but we are missionaries living in, and around the Mwanza, Tanzania area. In all my years of being a missionary I’ve never lived this close to a group of women!) One of the things we encourage each other in is to extend grace.
Tammy, having a group of Sisters in Christ is what keeps us going as women of faith! It is so necessary to keep us living in the TRUTH and encourage us. So glad you have that!
i love the hope in HIM and renew strength.i love this because i am suffering with a chronic debelitating form of arthritis:ankylosing spondylitis.there is no cure.i will only get worse and my spine will fuse.as this happens the bone will become brittle.it can effect my organs too.if i had the money i would get this in the blue color.blue is the color of AS.
Webee, I am so very sorry to hear this. I have a couple of friends (and my Dad) who suffer from Lyme disease and are always fighting for their strength. I am so thankful they have faith in God. That is what keeps them going. I also have two friends who’s children have CHD (Congenital Heart Disease) and this tee was inspired by her story of what Hope means to her. Thank you for sharing.
What caught my eye was In His Wake Ministries. Both of you have such uniques ways of reaching people for the Lord! I loved all of the tees, but the one that caught my eye was HOPE…I have need to be reminded of that a lot lately. I love the inspiration verse Isaiah 40:31. What a great way to share the Word and look fashionable at the same time! Thank you for sharing your testimony & the giveaway. Thank you for finding a unique way to encourage others.
That is so great you read about the In His Wakes ministry! Thank you for all of your encouraging words!!
I want to order the tee “Grace” and I don’t have a promo code. God Bless!
Lin! So sorry. It is working now! enter mysisters at checkout. If something isn’t working right with my website at any time, please contact me and I will resolve it right away! Thank you so much.
Sandi, what a powerful testimony you have. Thank you for sharing. I loved the survivor t-shirt, also the shine one
So many I want! Shine…Blessed…..Grace….Faith……I bookmarked the site!
Would love to buy these for all the amazing women that God has put in my life. But my favorite is the princess of the King of Kings. My 12 year old daughter just accepted Christ as her Savior last year and was baptized. Praise God! She is so proud of her choice and it’s such a joy to see her love and excitement in sharing it. She would adore this shirt, and wear it proudly. Your story is inspiring and thank you for finding a way to tell all woman that they are loved more than they can ever know!
That is something to sing about! I’m so happy to hear it. I hope your daughter surrounds herself with other Christian girlfriends to keep her sticking to her faith through a difficult and tempting world. Sisters in Christ have a way of lifting each other up in a powerful way that encourages us to listen to the TRUTH and not the world. We need to be reminded constantly that’s why healthy, Christian friendships are so important. Good job Mom!!
Thank you for sharing about these t-shirts. I think the Alive shirt is my favorite. Embrace and Grace are close runners up!
You have a wonderfully designed website and fantastic product offering–having Shawntell from The Bachelor is a wonderful addition to your marketing plan–and she’s the “real deal” when it comes to be a living testimony of God’s marvelous and gracious plan for our lives! I especially liked the “Encourage” tee and will most likely be ordering it! Kudos to you for being true to the vision and purpose the Lord had for you when He created you!!
Tough choice, but I think I like the “I have it all under control…God” the best!
BTW…I tried to order another tee and the discount code didn’t work.
I am so sorry. The code is working now! enter mysisters at checkout. If something isn’t working right with my website at any time, please contact me and I will resolve it right away! Thank you so much.
I like the bold and simply line. Specifically, the Love tee.
I love the Grace shirt. Thanks!
I definitely have my eye on the hope t-shirt, as that is my theme word for the year. But I’d be happy to wear all of the designs!
Blessings,
Lisa
My favorite is the Grace one!
I promise I went to the site and didn’t just look above. Great items!
My word of the year for 2011 was “embrace” and green is my fave color to wear so that t jumped out at me.
I LOVE the SHINE tee! My prayer every day is that the light of Jesus will shine through me for all to see.
